2024 CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: 

JANUARY 18, 2024  - MAY 31, 2024 | Canceled registrations will be charged a $49 cancellation fee per registration, minus the initial RunSignUp processing fee. 

JUNE 1, 2024 - AUGUST 15, 2024 | Canceled registrations will be charged a $99 cancellation fee per registration, minus the initial RunSignUp processing fee. 

After AUGUST 15, 2023 | Canceled registrations will be refunded 50% of the ticket price per registrant, minus the initial RunSignUp processing fee.

2024 DEFERRAL POLICY

JANUARY 18, 2024 - AUGUST 15, 2024 | Registrants may defer their 2024 registration to The Burn 2025, and will be charged a $99 deferral fee per registration.

After 8/15/24, no deferrals will be offered. Deferrals are only valid for one year. No subsequent deferrals (deferrals for multiple years) are allowed.

After December 31, 2023: Registrants who have deferred from 2023 to 2024 will be subject to the standard 2024 Cancellation and Refund Policy above.

2024 TRANSFER POLICY 

JANUARY 18, 2024 - AUGUST 31, 2024 | Registrants may transfer their registration to another individual for a fee of $25. Participant is responsible for managing all financial transactions with the other individual. No transfers are available after this date.

2024 VIP TASTING TICKET CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY (NOT YET AVAILABLE): 

If you purchase a ticket for any VIP Tasting Event but cannot attend, tickets may be transferred to another Bourbon Burn Rider or Non-Rider at no charge - - please email Phil@BourbonCountryBurn.com to facilitate the transfer.

You may also cancel any VIP Tasting Event ticket or tickets and will be refunded 50% of the total ticket price.


EVENT CANCELLATION STATEMENT

The Bourbon Burn is a 100% outdoor, rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather, or any other unforeseeable circumstances, the event organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel the event at any point in time. As stated in the event waiver, “Event Organizer has the sole discretion to alter, change or cancel the event.”

In the event of an alteration or cancellation of the event, The Bourbon Burn does not guarantee any full or partial refund of fees paid.


REG SHIELD TRIP INSURANCE OFFERED THROUGH RUNSIGNUP (3RD PARTY REGISTRATION PLATFORM):

New riders who are registering for The Bourbon Burn 2024 will have the option to purchase trip insurance.

*Note that this policy does NOT cover event cancellation. This policy is offered as a service through RegShield and Run Sign Up; The Bourbon Burn will be unable to answer any question surrounding the policy.

Accommodation Policies:

HOTELS:

Hotels operate independently of the Bourbon Burn. Participants are responsible for booking, managing and canceling all hotel accommodations. Please see our accommodation page for more information.

RV CANCELLATION POLICY

All RV reservations are handled directly through the Kentucky Horse Park Campground Store. As such, all participants are responsible for managing AND canceling any RV reservations associated with a rider registration. Those reservations can be adjusted by:

  1. Contacting the KY Horse Park Campground Store by dialing 859-259-4257, choose option 2

  2. Tell whomever answers that you are with the Bourbon Burn 2023 and that you need to modify your RV/Camping Reservation. 

  3. No answer? Leave a message and they will return your call.

Partner Services Policies:

PADRE’S CYCLE INN

CYCLE ZYDECO BIKE RENTALS

Participants are responsible for booking, managing, and canceling all Cycle Zydeco Bike Rental services. More about Cycle Zydeco can be found here.
